Finally a Double Wedding Ring Part 3!!

Finally the quilting and binding are completed. I am really pleased that I have challenged myself. I have gone out of my comfort zone! Not so much discomfort with working the Double Wedding Ring Pattern, but the 1980’s colors that I started with. Peach and Sage Green. The tie dyed look of some of the rings. I enjoy watching what doesn’t seem to go together, suddenly work. On one of the blogs I have read, the author said that one of the things he did to challenge himself is pull out a fabric or two that he quite honestly though “clashed” with the rest of the pulled fabrics. You just don’t know when that will be the ticket that draws the eye in.

In Loving Memory to My Mom “Millie Rose Kampe”

There will be more Double Wedding Rings in my future! Thanks to Victoria Findlay Wolfe for the Inspiration and Instruction!
